Masada Rifle, known as ACR, was originally designed by Magpul, which was considered to be the best features of each in a single, lightweight, modular rifle platform. It has some features from serval rifles, like the gas system of AR18, upper receiver and cocking lever from MK16 Scar, Polymer Components of XM8 and the trigger system and barrel from M16. In 2008, Masada's design was licenced to Bushmaster and later to Remington and known as the ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle) in market.
Magpul PTS Masada AEG is the airsoft verion of the real steel ACR but in Magpul name, and the AKM CQB AEG contains a CQB type QD front set, 7.62 style lower frame with a 7.62 style mid cap magazine and a folding collapsible stock. It can fit all accessories and conversation kit made by PTS for Masada AEG.
